Determining the characteristics of the market-monetary democratic system and identifying the characteristics and developmental tendencies of an economy and wider society within this system, which with a high level of certainty enable predictions of their future development, was essential for developing the concept of the Transition toward the Sustainable System.
The analysis of the market-monetary democratic system (and also other systems mentioned in this book), which includes determining its characteristics and the characteristics and developmental tendencies of an economy and wider society within this system, has been conducted by determining logical connections between observable phenomena within the global socio-economic system, including historic and current events. The development of an economy and wider society within this system according to their developmental tendencies has been estimated to have higher chances of taking place than the development that would oppose these tendencies.
